Schott Foundation Announces Sabrina W. Horton as SVP of Partnership Engagement

The Schott Foundation for Public Education is pleased to announce that Sabrina W. Horton has joined Schott as Senior Vice President of Partnership Engagement. In this position, Sabrina will lead the foundation’s advancement and communications efforts across the organization.

Jackson, Schott President and CEO. “In this pivotal moment for philanthropic investment, Sabrina will be a tremendous asset in coalescing the critical partnerships and resources that our partners urgently need.”

Prior to joining Schott, Sabrina worked at YWCA, where she led both local and national fundraising, marketing, volunteer engagement and communications strategies. Her career has been dedicated to advancing equity across the education, healthcare, and social sectors.

Earlier in her career, Sabrina served in the Office of Advancement at The Ohio State University Foundation, serving as Foundation Relations Director for the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Heart and Vascular Center, including the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital and the Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute.

A committed community advocate, Sabrina currently serves on: The Ohio State University Community Advisory Board; the Willie & Vivian Gaddis Foundation, Jumpstart Experience; and as Secretary, Jon O’Mari Brown Donor Advised Fund of The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation, Charleston, West Virginia.

Originally from Appalachia, Sabrina is a two-time graduate of Marshall University, holding a Master of Science in Adult and Technical Education with a concentration in Training and Development, and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Health Care Administration and a double minor in English and Communications.
