Diego Alvarez is the Director of Finance and Operations at Schott. He manages finance and operations in support of Schott’s programs.
Diego spent more than 15 years managed the finances and operations of several nonprofit organizations, most recently making a career change to GoldenWolf in support of the Defense Health Agency as a project manager. His passion for nonprofit work, especially those fighting for equity and inclusion, brought him to Schott. Diego’s expertise is in nonprofit finance, HR, IT systems and operations, data analysis and project management.
Originally from Ecuador, Diego moved to the United States more than 18 years ago. He earned an MBA and an MS in management with a specialization in project management. His original goal was to move to Australia, but he found that what the US has to offer was more than enough to set down his roots here. Diego currently lives in Frederick, MD.
