Claude Kabuya joined the Schott Foundation for Public Education in March 2012, and is Staff Accountant. She manages all bookkeeping responsibilities, including accounts payable and receivable, credit card reconciliation, staff reimbursements, bank reconciliation, payroll tracking and support, grant tracking and some compliance support.
Claude is an experienced bookkeeper. She was previously employed as the Team Accountant for Third Sector New England, a Boston area non-profit that provides leadership and management training as well as fiscal sponsorship for small nonprofit organizations.
Originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Claude received a bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Kinshasa. She worked at the Société Financière de Développement (SOFIDE), a development bank and joint project between the Congolese government the World Bank, where she compiled business plans for potential investors. She later went on to get a certificate in management from the Institut Catholic des Hautes Ètudes Commerciales in Brussels and a bachelor degree Finance and Accounting Management from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
