Schott Foundation Launches New “Testimonies of Love” Series

The Schott Foundation’s new Testimonies of Love series highlights successful and impactful individuals who are making our world a more loving place. The stories of these individuals aren’t simply easy paths to success all by themselves: they have achieved great things through the love and support of their family members, schools, neighborhoods, and institutions around them. And now, they’re giving that love back to their communities.

Too often, we see stories that only focus on the will of a singular person who inevitably and steadily reaches the heights of success — but we all know life is far more complicated than that. Testimonies of Love showcases stories that show how unpredictable, uneven, and uncertain our life trajectories can be, and how success is borne not through rugged individualism, but through support and love around us. These stories also point to how we can better help ourselves and each other succeed: by building Loving Communities that embed love and care in the systems around us, from fully funded public schools and affordable housing to livable wage jobs and clean air and water.

Our first Testimony is Rose Crelli, a star violinist whose performance with Bad Bunny at the 2026 Super Bowl was far from certain while she was growing up in the Yukon, without running water and taking violin lessons over a corded phone. Hear Rose’s story:
