Toan Hang joined the Schott Foundation for Public Education in November of 2025. As the Director of Finance and Operations, he is responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s finances and accounting, compliance, administration, information technology, and operations. Toan brings a wealth of experience leading financial strategy and operational excellence across nonprofit and other mission-aligned organizations. Most recently, Toan served as Vice President of Finance & Operations at Coqual, a national nonprofit whose mission is to advance diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace. At Coqual, he provided leadership to strengthen financial strategy, sustainability and organization impact.
Toan earned his BA in Economics at the University of Rochester. Based in Brooklyn, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and traveling.
