Lisa joined the Schott Foundation for Public Education in July of 2023. As the Operations Assistant, Lisa aids in operations and administrative functions and is the foundation’s Salesforce administrator.
Coming from a family of public school educators, Lisa has experience as a teaching assistant, substitute teacher, and technical trainer. Additional fields of expertise include the travel industry, legal, law enforcement, and cybersecurity compliance technology. Recently, she had the opportunity to complete a contract with a marine conservation, research, and education nonprofit in California and Costa Rica.
Originally from Southern California, Lisa received her Bachelor’s degree in History, emphasizing Latin America, from Cal Poly Pomona. She also holds a Master’s in Social Studies Education from UNC Pembroke.
