Kayla Henderson-Wood joined the Schott Foundation as Communications Manager in 2024. In this role she supports Schott’s communications strategy and manages our social media presence. She has been published in KQED, Oregon Magazine, Portland Weekly, Eugene Weekly and more.
Kayla graduated from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communications and received her master’s degree in journalism at the University of California, Berkeley. Kayla’s work has focused on the education, recidivism, social justice, Black culture and more.
