WEBINAR: Branding, Communications and Social Media

The Schott Foundation (the OTL Campaign's parent organization) is committed to helping grantees and allies make a difference! Part of that involves offering resources to help you in your efforts to ensure all children have access to a high quality public education. This is why we are introducing the Grassroots Education Series. Held periodically, this series will bring you online trainings, resources, checklists and best practices that you can use.

The first installment in this series is a webinar on Branding, Communications and Social Media with Race Forward: The Center for Racial Justice Innovation.

Throughout the years, Race Forward has been successful in using principles of branding, communications and social media to achieve its social justice goals. On Monday, July 27 at 12 PM Eastern, Race Forward's Director of Marketing & Communications, Jyarland Daniels, and Social Media Manager, Tara L. Conley, will provide a one-hour webinar that will explain:

  1. What branding is and why it matters to grassroots organizations
  2. The difference between branding and communications
  3. How organizers can most effectively leverage social media and measure its impact

In this webinar, you will learn the details behind some of Race Forward's most successful online initiatives! There will also be tangible tips, tools and checklists for all your branding, communications and social media needs. This is a training that you won't want to miss! There is no cost for participating.
